YHRK is a community kindergarten, which means that it's managed by the parents, together with the Director and staff. The parent committee works together with the Director and staff, to:
manage the finances
employ and manage staff
market the centre
perform other regulatory and managerial functions associated with running the service.
We invite you to share your knowledge and experience in these areas by nominating for committee positions: finance, secretarial, HR, web content, IT, marketing, social media, policy, maintenance, grants and fundraising.
Our parent community contributes to the kindergarten in many other ways, including:
Maintaining the kindy grounds
Washing toys and dress ups
Participating in fundraising events such as bake sales, sausage sizzles and trivia nights
