Committee 

At Yeronga Hyde Road Kindergarten we encourage our community connections. We value and encourage contributions from our community as they enrich our kindergarten experience, for the children, families and staff. 

YHRK is a non for profit community kindergarten, and as such is managed by a volunteer parent committee, in conjunction with our teachers. 

This committee works alongside the staff as caretakers of our kindy, by ensuring ongoing maintenance and continual improvement occurs, to continue the legacy and history that our kindergarten has, of being a wonderful and magical introduction to education. 

There are many ways to be involved in our kindergarten, other than being on the parent committee such as, helping at working bees or odd maintenance jobs, being on the washing roster, collecting and returning museum loans, or assisting the fundraising team at events.
